Lightly toast baguette slices. This can be done in a toaster or in the oven.
While the bread is toasting mash the avocado to your liking. I like to keep it a bit chunky but smooth is fine too. Add a bit of salt making sure not to overdo it as you will be adding more later.
Divide the avocado mixture between the toasted baguette slices.
Drizzle each piece with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
