While most people prefer spring or fall, summer has always been by far my favorite season of the year. To me, summer means leisurely days spent in shorts and bare feet, the sounds of birds chirping in the trees, the smell of fresh cut grass, the aromas of dinner cooking on the bbq, and hot summer nights sleeping with the windows open while the moonlight streams through the curtains creating light shadows on the wall.
