Using a pastry brush or oil sprayer oil each piece of pita on both sides.
Cut each piece of pita bread into 8 triangles (or smaller squares).
Sprinkle each piece with sea salt generously.
Add pita to the basket of the air fryer in a single layer (bake in batches if necessary). Set the temperature to 350 degrees F and set the timer for 3-4 minutes. Turn the pita over (or shake the basket if using smaller squares) and continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
Remove the pita chips from the basket and repeat for any remaining pieces.
