Steakhouse Style Garlic Bread

Easy and delicious garlic bread reminiscent of the kind served at old-school steakhouses.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ loaf French bread
  • 115 g (½ cup) butter, salted & at room temperature
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • .40 g (¼ tsp) garlic powder
  • handful fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 277 Cesius / 350F.
  • Allow butter to come to room temperature.
  • Grate (or finely chop) garlic cloves.

  • Add garlic and garlic powder to softened butter and combine well. Allow to sit for a few minutes and stir again to combine flavors.

  • Slice ½ of the French loaf down the middle lengthwise and butter each half generously with the garlic butter. You want it well-buttered.

  • Place both halves of French loaf buttered side up on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the bread is turning brown and slightly crispy around the edges and the butter has melted through.

  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley (if using) and serve immediately.
